01 / purpose and quantity
Describe the need in everyday language.
What should be made, what function should it serve and how many units are planned? Start with a description if documentation is not yet complete.
02 / material
Separate selection from confirmation.
If the material type or grade is not agreed, say so explicitly. The demonstration pack has a “Material to be agreed” option. We do not choose grades or parameters for the manufacturer.
03 / drawing
A file name is not yet documentation.
The DEMO form records your declared documentation status and intended drawing file name. You do not submit the file. Describe what is still missing: geometry, dimensions, material or agreements.
04 / questions for the manufacturer
What still needs checking?
- Is the documentation sufficient to assess the part?
- Which information and parameters still need confirmation?
- What scope, price and timing could be agreed?
