How do you choose a size?

Choose a similar piece you feel comfortable in. The measurement helps prepare a comparison with a real manufacturer's chart.

  1. Underarm width

    Lay a comfortable top flat, without stretching it. Measure a straight line from one underarm to the other.

  2. Body length

    Measure from the highest shoulder point near the neck to the hem. Consider where you want the new style to end.

  3. Armhole

    On a well-fitting vest, compare the opening length from shoulder to underarm. Account for the layer you wear underneath.

When the chart describes the body

Run the tape horizontally around the widest part of the chest without tightening. Compare this circumference only with the manufacturer's body measurement chart, not a garment's flat width.
